APB is DOA. Looks Like PC Gamers Don’t Want MMO In Their GTA

Did you get to play APB? If you didn't, now you'll never get the chance. The official APB site reports that the servers will be shut down today. Ben 'APBMonkey' Bateman wrote:

Today we are sad to announce that despite everyone's best efforts to keep the service running; APB is coming to a close. It's been a pleasure working on APB and with all its players. It would seem yet another developer is closing their doors. APB launched June 29, meaning the game didn't even pass the 100-day mark. That has to be some kind of record. Even Tabula Rasa managed to last two years. The announcement was extremely sudden; the day before yesterday APB's site proudly proclaimed that the game would a new patch on the 16th.
