Castle Crashers Combats Cancer With Pink Knight on PSN

Want to help fight breast cancer? Want to add some new content to Castle Crashers? Good news, you can do both at the same time! The Behemoth launches its newest DLC, the Pink Knight Pack, for Castle Crashers on PSN February 8. For just $1.99 it adds a new character, the Pink Knight, to the game's massive roster. More importantly, every cent of that $1.99 goes directly to breast cancer research charities. It's a pretty good deal all-around.

Follow The Behemoth, Give Chickens To The Needy

'Tis the season for charity. Through the end of November, The Behemoth will be giving chickens to hungry families. For every 4 users who follow @thebehem0th on Twitter or Like the BattleBlock Theater, Alien Hominid, or Castle Crashers Facebook pages, The Behemoth will donate a chicken to a needy family through Heifer International. It's just a few clicks to get some poultry to people who could use it.

And just a reminder, the Child's Play charity is in full swing. Donate toys and money to childrens' hospitals across the country, and help give gamers a good name while doing it! They've already raised nearly half a million dollars, and hope to get $1.2 million in donations by Christmas.

Castle Crashers PSN: Still Good!

It's taken a really, really long time for this port to come out, but Castle Crashers has finally hit PSN. At last, Playstation gamers can enjoy the same beat-em-up action Xbox gamers have been taking for granted since 2008. This is going to be a very short review because, well, everything there was to say about Castle Crashers was said two years ago when it came out on the Xbox 360.

This is more or less the exact same game as the Xbox 360 version. The minigames have been switched around, so instead of All You Can Quaff you can play a team arena mode or thvolleyball game that popped up at the end of the campaign's desert level. The entertaining gameplay is the same. The signature Behemoth animations are the same. The lengthy campaign is the same. The dozens of characters, weapons, and animal orbs are the same (though the King and Necromancer can be unlocked in Insane mode without buying additional DLC).
