From the Game: Junpei’s baseball cap from Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3
The latest release of Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 is out, and it finally brings one of the best RPGs of the Playstation 2 era to portable gaming. Persona 3 Portable adds a few features to the game, tweaks the interface, and, most importantly for this feature, comes with a fairly rad pre-order bonus at Gamestop. If you preordered this game at Gamestop, then you got this hat, a replica of Junpei Iori's from the game.
Junpei is the main character's best friend and party member in Persona 3 and he always wears his signature baseball cap. The hat has a triskelion symbol on it, and while it doesn't have any overt significance to the game, it might hint at Junpei's ultimate Persona, Trismegistus (the "thrice-great").
It's a really nice baseball cap, especially for a toss-in product with a game preorder. It's 100% cotton, with a metal buckle on the back for adjusting the size. The tag doesn't say waht company made the hat, only that it was made in Vietnam and that it's "not for sale." The tag also features a rather prominent Persona 3 Portable logo, noting the hat's origin.
It's too late to preorder Persona 3 Portable to get the hat from Gamestop, but Amazon is still offering it as a bonus with the game. Better pick it up while you can, if you want to look as bitchin' as me:
