The Double Dragon movie was one of my favorite movies when i was a kid, and though missing the point of the game, still has a fond place in my memory. I mean Alyssa Milano as peak hotness, shadow-Ninja Terminator, and i love that someone else caught that on of the brothers is the host of Iron Chef America. When i first saw that show the first hting i thought was “Are you familiar with the story of Romulus and Remus brother…”

If you added the Resident Evil movies to this list it would be boring since 1-5 would all be the different RE movies.

the distopian future stuff from the Double Dragon movie was actually spot-on with the original versions of the game, which were meant to be a sort of “social collapse” future with roving gangs, etc. picture something like a more urban Mad Max crossed with Fist of the North Star as being their inspiration….

that said, everything else in the movie was complete garbage and absolutely missed the point.

THANK YOU for agreeing with me on the prince of persia movie!! everyone I’ve mentioned the fact that there were no sand monsters to thought I was just crazy…I did NOT see that movie for a metaphor for the war in Iraq.

wow kida dumb because they are games all games are not supposed to make sense monkey ball they are monkeys rolling around trying to get this evil monkey that took away all there bananas and to get to him they have to go though courses and how is that gonna get there bananas back??? and why do-sent the monkeys just get different bananas like why do they give a shit about those bananas there not super bananas or something they have to have those ones wtf really why don’t the monkeys get different bananas
