Get StarCraft II For Free! (if you’re Korean and play World of Warcraft)
In a brilliant move, Blizzard announced that any Korean gamers with an active World of Warcraft subscription will be able to play StarCraft II, free of charge. The deal lasts as long as the World of Warcraft account is active. Blizzard's Chris Sigaty described the announcement as "a way of giving something back to such a supportive and skilled community of players."
Other players will be able to buy the game outright for the US equivalent of about $54, or pick up $8 monthly or even $1.60 daily passes for the game, so Blizzard will still make plenty on the long-awaited sequel in Korea. Don't expect this deal to come back to the states. WoW has had differing pay models overseas for some time, but the US only has the monthly pricing plan.
